"TITANIC" - 1997

James Cameron, director full of such earlier hits as Alien and Terminator series, managed to captivate in 1997 to criticism, the public and the Academy (with the bizarre figure of 11 Oscars).

"Titanic" is perhaps the most commercial film ever, yet is an immense film mandatory viewing for anyone who considers cinephile, even despite its flaws, and the known historical howlers. No one can deny its influence on contemporary culture and the subsequent film.

The collapse is an authentic and unforgettable film show where a big Kate Winslet gives vent to his boundless talent (not so much DiCaprio would improve enough over the years).
The technical part is the best of the film. Art direction and costumes excellent, a dream picture, a brilliant assembly and a masterful music: scores superb and the theme "My Heart Will Go On" played by the beautiful Celine Dion. In general, it is one of the greatest epics in film history, one of the great love stories and one of the most acclaimed films of all time.
