"THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION" ("Cadena Perpetua") - 1994

Based on a story by Stephen King, Darabont adapted a masterful screenplay, which was his debut. This film, told the gossip, was impressed especially by teens and twentysomethings have one of the best stories of friendship between men. Accustomed to see tough guys, here they are forced to look with new eyes to the players and their history. Personally, I think is the most beautiful story ever told about the friendship between two men.

Morgan Freeman is the main character narrates over the footage the adventures of his friend, which in the end you realize that you knew nothing.

It is one of the best prison movies in history, with an overwhelming realism and more than interesting dialogues with well-defined characters are actors who perform a more significant role either primary or secondary.

But I'll make a special emphasis on Morgan Freeman. He is tremendous, spectacular, exciting role that makes this man. How well this guy talk (for me, the best, he and doubles it in Spain), and gestures of joy both in the pleasant moments that are much like those of despair and suffering that supports seem so real, like you're interacting with him in person.

In short, this movie is a masterpiece. A film that makes you love the film like few others. “Cadena Perpetua” has a very accurate picture, a great assembly and a huge adjustment.

"TITANIC" - 1997

James Cameron, director full of such earlier hits as Alien and Terminator series, managed to captivate in 1997 to criticism, the public and the Academy (with the bizarre figure of 11 Oscars).

"Titanic" is perhaps the most commercial film ever, yet is an immense film mandatory viewing for anyone who considers cinephile, even despite its flaws, and the known historical howlers. No one can deny its influence on contemporary culture and the subsequent film.

I have not seen a movie in my entire life to reach this level, and may never see it. I can not express in words how much I loved this movie. It is the only film that I've put a 10 and not by the simple fact that it is very good, but because the number 10 means insurmountable and a note that is precisely what this film is: insurpassable.

Perhaps another word to define this film is: Beautiful. Stressing the soundtrack and the beautiful scenes devoted to the Scottish countryside at the beginning of the film. Also highlights the scenes in which Wallace is running for the hills with Celtic music in the background. This film is a clear example of the effect that can make a good soundtrack to a film.

To me, this is the masterpiece of Mel Gibson and his best performance, so those who have not seen it, do not hesitate to see it because it is worth and never disappoint

A film that stands out in almost all respects, it has a history of argument well taken, and this film is that not only describes a historical event and an epic drama, but it goes further and tells the life of William Wallace and the many feelings that accompany any person during his life, like love, death, friendship, fear, setbacks of life, effort, etc.
